Privacy Policy

This page provides initial public privacy information for ReZone marketplace visitors, account users, listings, support requests, and authentication flows.

Initial public policy contentEffective date: June 12, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how ReZone may collect, use, and protect information when people visit the ReZone public storefront, create or access an account, browse or create classified marketplace listings, communicate with sellers or buyers, or contact support.

This is initial public policy content for the current ReZone marketplace MVP. It is written to be practical and understandable, and it may be updated as account, payment, messaging, and support features mature.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as name, email address, phone number, account profile details, listing details, photos or links you submit, support requests, reports, and messages or notes related to marketplace activity.

We may also collect basic technical information such as device, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from your request or your selected marketplace area, pages visited, and logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.

If you sign in with Google or another identity provider, ReZone may receive basic account information made available by that provider, such as your name, email address, and profile identifier, for authentication and account setup purposes.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate the marketplace, show listings, support account access, help buyers and sellers communicate, respond to support requests, review safety reports, prevent abuse, debug service issues, and improve ReZone features.

We do not use Google OAuth profile information to sell personal data. We use OAuth-provided information to authenticate users and connect them with their ReZone account experience.

4. Listings and public marketplace content

Classified listings, seller profile details, item descriptions, listing photos, public seller signals, and similar marketplace content may be visible to other visitors or users depending on the feature and publication status.

Avoid posting sensitive personal information in public listing descriptions, photos, titles, or profile fields. Support can help review concerns through the public contact route.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that help operate ReZone, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, storage, support, security, and communications providers, only as needed for those services to function.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or to respond to valid legal requests.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

ReZone may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure basic usage, protect sessions, and improve the marketplace experience.

Browser controls may let you block or delete cookies, but some account or marketplace features may not work correctly without them.

7. Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate ReZone, provide support, meet legal or safety needs, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate records for marketplace activity.

We use practical security measures appropriate for an MVP marketplace, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their account credentials and report suspicious activity quickly.

8. Your choices

You may choose what information to provide, update account details when account tools are available, avoid posting sensitive information publicly, and contact support for privacy or account questions.

If you want to request correction, deletion, or review of information associated with your ReZone account or listing activity, contact support through the current support route and include enough detail for the team to identify the relevant account or listing.

9. Contact

For privacy questions, account concerns, listing concerns, or support requests, contact ReZone through the public support route at /support/contact.
